This folder contains 4,078 publicly available phage genomes that were used for uPOGs construction. Of these 4,078 genomes, The sequences of 3,319 publicly available phage genomes were queried from the NCBI nucleotide (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/?term=) using same keyowords as Kristensen et al. and 759 prophage genomes were downloaded from ACLAME database. 1. phage_genome_fromACLAME.fasta: the sequences of 759 prophage genomes collected from ACLAME database. 2. phage_genome_fromNCBI.fasta: 3319 phage genomes collected from NCBI nucleotide database. 3. public_phage_genomes.fasta: all the 4,078 phage genomes pooled the sequences from two databases together. ============= Reference ============= Kristensen, D.
